Easyswitch Mortgages is a trading brand of Essex Mortgage Centre Ltd, set up in 2007 to deal with local customers with their mortgage needs.
However, as time and market has evolved in the last few years, so have we!
Having seen many local and national brokers close down or scale back their proposition in the current market, we saw an opportunity to expand our business model by developing on-line tools that make it easy to do business with customers all day every day, backed by the experience and knowledge that gives you the high level of advice and support needed with such an important transaction
The 3 directors and staff have over 80+ years combined experience of Banking and looking after customers finances, whether financial advice, mortgage lending, high net worth banking or business financing - many lending practices and criteria may have changed, but basic financial planning and lending principles have hardly changed in the last 20 years!
Our Service Mission - easy to deal with, easy to understand, and to find the best products for your needs.
All our advisers are registered with the FSA, qualifed to CeMAP (Certificate of Mortgage Advice and Practice), and many are also qualified to CeFA or FPC (Certificate of Financial Advice / Financial Planning Certficate) level, so we can give you wider experience of Financial Planning. All our advisers have had at least 15 years financial market experience, and have all been through the house sale and purchase process too many times!
We have always had the wide Broker mortgage deals to provide our customers great value, but over the last 12 months we have seen the market move towards 'Direct' deals as lenders look to increase profit per case, but keep rates as low as possible. So we have changed how we work to allow us to deliver on our mission statement, allowing you to benefit from a truely independent view of the market.
Benefit from our Independent service, coupled with our experience and expertise - we are committed to getting you the mortgage, just give us the chance to help you.
Your property may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage or any other debt secured on it.
If you are considering any debt consolidation - Think carefully before securing other debts against your home.

We normally do not charge any fees for our mortgage advice as the majority of mortgage lenders will pay us a procuration fee for our work. We do offer a fee-based service should you prefer, which will cost no more than 0.35% of the mortgage advance. Any mortgage procuration fee would then be rebated to you on completion. Some lenders do not pay a procuration fee, so we will need to charge you a flat fee for our advice and administration, typically £499. We also reserve the right to charge an administration fee for mortgage applications below £100,000, to ensure that we can earn a minimum of £500 from a combination of commission, fees and other income from a mortgage application. Please ask us for more details.
We can deal with our clients using our Online Mortgage Service, by telephone or face to face. By using our Online Mortgage Service you accept that our Independent Mortgage Advice is based upon the information you have provided us.
