Abbey National, or Santander as they are known on the UK High Street, are on of the major Mortgage Lenders in the UK. Providing a number of Fixed Rate, Tracker Mortgages, Abbey Remortgages, and also an Offset Product that gives some great flexibility.
Many of their mortgage options, for purchase mortgages or remortgaging, come with a free valuation and either free legals or a cashback allowance to use your own solicitors or conveyancers.
Abbey Mortgages allow for an element of Interest Only Mortgages, subject to your circumstances and how much you want to borrow. They are also able to look at secondary income, including some benefits, to allow you to borrow a bit more than usually allowed.
For those with smaller deposits, Abbey Mortgages provide mortgage deals up to 90% Loan to Value, so could be suited to you as a first time buyer, or if you have a small deposit for your new property purchase
